Emma is an R&D Research Associate with Growcentia. She has degrees from Iowa State University in Biology and Spanish, and her professional background includes involvement with plant sciences, conservation work, and social work. Before coming to Growcentia, Emma spent two years with a conservation corps building trails, planting, and restoring flood-affected areas. In her free time, Emma enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and walking her “old man dog,” Frank. She can also solve a rubik’s cube! An adventurous seeker of new opportunities and possibilities, Emma’s friends would describe her as determined, curious, and caring. Emma’s favorite part about working with Growcentia: the fun people!
